In the news...

Rush conclusions are wrong

Every so often on Google Trends, there is a search that is popular and could mean many different things. The word “rush” appeared on the list on April 8 within the morning and could mean many different things. First, there’s been a new tour announced for Canadian prog-rock group Rush, and then several other things which aren’t of nearly the exact same importance. You could even rush out and put some instant money into getting tickets.

Men Working

The only Rush worth discussing in my mind is the super group from the Great White North. When on the road, which they can be leaving for soon, they’ll perform the whole moving pictures album. They intend to be hitting many spots in Canada and in the U.S. The really big part is the tour plans to hit the New York State Fair, making the NY residents pretty lucky. The state fair where I live only attracts washed up rock bands from the ’70s and ’80s (and none of the cool ones), and washed up or obscure country bands. Back to my point, Rush will perform Moving Pictures entirely, following a trend of recent years. Bruce Springsteen played his whole album, Asbury Park, live when Megadeth is playing the whole Rust in Pease album, etc. Yes, Moving Pictures is definitely the album with Limelight and Tom Sawyer on it. Essentially it is worth getting a loan to have the opportunity of seeing this show perform. (Rush tour dates here.)

Today’s Tom Fool and Xana-juice

There isn’t any new about Rush Limbaugh. Which is a welcome relief. The other news that comes up concerning the term Rush is a juice business selling some stock on a stock exchange, Apple Rush. This business sells mostly apple and apple blends while also selling sparkling orange juice, and is doing really well. However tasty that may sound (I actually could go for one about now), one suspects the term Rush is or was on Trends entirely as a result of rock band Rush and its upcoming tour. I wish they were hitting my area; I’d love to see them live on the lighted stage.
