Sarah Ferguson caught attempting sell access

Sarah Ferguson has been found to have attempted to sell an undercover reporter posing as a businessman access to her former husband, Prince Andrew the Duke of York, for half a million pounds. (That’s around three-quarters of a million dollars, give or take.) The Duchess has been in and out of money trouble, and she apparently was willing to potentially put the father of her children at risk to get out of it. She has been a black sheep among the royalty, but she has enjoyed a following on the other side of the pond.

Sarah Ferguson busted again

In an apparent move to get a little debt relief, Sarah Ferguson has been busted by a News of the World sting. A reporter, posing as a businessman, met with her and was promised unfettered access to Prince Andrew for half a million pounds. The reporter, Mahzer Mahmood, specializes in undercover reporting of exactly this kind, according to The Guardian. To say she’s lost face as a result of the incident would be an understatement.

Fergie has become the Fungus Among Us

This isn’t the first time Ferguson has been busted. She was photographed numerous times seeing other men socially during her marriage to Prince Andrew, prompting an unofficial blackball by the rest of the royalty. This was the action of an unhinged lunatic, to sell out the security of another person and the father of her offspring, even for royalty. Granted, it isn’t as harsh as the divorce settlements of Henry the 8th. (I am, I am.) She would be hard pressed to look more incompetent, as Mahmood has stung numerous celebrities over the years, including royalty, and by now she should have bloody well known better.

How the mighty have fallen

When people get desperate, they do foolish things. It doesn’t need to be said, but the dramas of British royalty really don’t matter. Just like the Kennedys, people should pay them no mind. Some people tough it out, and get a job like the rest of without trying to sell anyone out. It just goes to show you that high class can be as devoid of class as can be at times.
